About The Founder
Mohani Niza is a communications practitioner and researcher with nearly two decades of experience spanning the media industry, civil society and recently, academia. Having volunteered at various non-governmental organisations (NGOs) since her university days, she is passionate about social impact, women’s rights and social justice. She writes, edits, proofreads, and translates documents for various clients, and has conducted research for nonprofits and higher education institutions.
A journalism graduate, she began her career as a features writer at a top-ranking news portal before moving on to several publications as an editor. She recently wrapped up a two-year stint at Monash Climate Change Communication Research Hub (MCCCRH) Malaysia Node, School of Arts and Social Sciences, Monash University Malaysia, researching into how climate change journalism in Malaysia can be improved.
